Summer Camps 2021
JULY Rippers is offering two July camps this summer: one for incoming 7th and 8th graders and one for high school players (high school players should have some field hockey experience). The first half of practice will cover stick skills and drills, followed by two 25 minute halves of scrimmages (so attendance is very important). The goal is to provide a lot of competitive playing time to prepare players for game play and to have fun!

AUGUST Rippers is offering a 4-day August preseason field hockey camp. The camp is open to 5th-12th graders and players will be placed in the respective age/skills groups. This camp is a great way for incoming freshmen and returning high school players to get ready for their school preseason and tryouts, which starts the following week. For middle school players, it's a great way to introduce players to the support and prepare them for our Rippers 2021 Fall Club Season. The camp will cover all aspects of the sport, including skills and strategy development along with plenty of scrimmage time.

Summer Camps 2020
Rippers will be offering some mini-seasons in July and August, operating under Marin County COVID guidelines for summer sports camps. You can read more about the rules and guidelines here. Groups are limited to 12 players with a dedicated coach per pod, so spots are limited. Groups must be stable and operate for a minimum of 3 weeks. Players may also not be participating in another camp for the duration of the Rippers camp and are not allowed to travel out of state while participating.
**Note: due to field closures, we were only able to secure a grass field for our July season. However, Friends Field is in great condition, and we ordered Field Hockey Go Balls that are specifically designed to make grass play easier. All the coaches played on grass growing up, and it's more about getting the opportunity to practice and play outside right now!
