Golden Gate Rippers Field Hockey Club is passionate about developing youth field hockey in the North Bay. We are proud to be the first youth field hockey club in the North Bay, launching our program in summer 2019. Currently our fall club program is open to both girls and boys in grades 5-8, and our summer camps are open to grades 5-12. We welcome ALL skill levels, including those new to the sport. Athletes will be taught by experienced field hockey coaches and learn specific skills, strategies and teamwork.

If you're unsure if your child will like field hockey, email us about doing a drop-in practice (even if the season has started). We are more than happy to work with you!
USA FIELD HOCKEY MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS
Due to insurance requirements, all players must be members of the USA Field Hockey Association in order to participate in practices and tournaments.
Currently you only need to have a USFHA club membership to participate with Ripppers, which you can purchase through us for $10 (please bring cash to the first practice or add $10 to your Rippers payment during registration).
However, you may also purchase an annual USA Field Hockey Membership directly from the USFHA ($25 for U12 and $60 for U14-U19; please select "Golden Gate Rippers" as your club affiliation), and then your child will be eligible for all USFHA sponsored tournaments and events. Note - this type of membership is not currently required by Rippers.
Waiver Required: All players new to Rippers are required to turn in a Ross Recreation and USFHA Waiver & Liability Form before you can play (practice or games). Please return your completed waiver by email or in person at the first practice session. We will have printed waivers at practice.
NOTE: Sessions are rain or shine!
